The earthquake caused homes and vital infrastructure throughout the area to collapse, trapping and killing thousands. Powerful aftershocks sent survivors into panic, and communications are damaged, making full assessment of the damage difficult. Early reports indicate that the need for aid is vast. I found the first Nike commercial where children of all races were declaring, "I am Tiger Woods".
